HP & Torque Estimator

Calculate horsepower from torque and RPM, or torque from horsepower and RPM.

Inputs

Results

Run a calculation to view results.

Example Values

  • Torque 800 lb-ft at 1800 RPM -> about 274 HP

Formula and Notes

Horsepower = (Torque x RPM) / 5252; Torque = (Horsepower x 5252) / RPM

Horsepower is derived from torque and engine speed.

Useful for performance estimates, dyno math, and drivetrain calculations.
